An existing Cosmati customer contacted us again to upgrade the material processing stage of their production process.
The customer had previously purchased a heating filling machine from Cosmati and now required an additional mixing and emulsifying system to prepare the material before filling.
Unlike a standard mixing application, this project required fine material dispersion, controlled heating and convenient connection with the customer's existing filling equipment.
After reviewing the production process, Cosmati developed a customized 50L homogenizing mixing tank with an external emulsifying pump and mobile trolley.
The customer had several clear technical requirements for the new equipment:
The project was therefore not simply about selecting a standard mixing tank. The main challenge was achieving the required material processing performance while integrating the new equipment into the customer's existing production process.
Based on the customer's production requirements, Cosmati proposed a 50L three-layer mixing tank equipped with heating and variable-speed mixing.
The system also included an external emulsifying pump to support material circulation and improve dispersion performance.
The main configuration included:
Heating · Mixing · Homogenizing · External Emulsification · Circulation
This combination allows the material to circulate through the emulsifying system during processing, helping achieve a finer and more uniform product consistency.
Fine dispersion was one of the most important technical requirements in this project.
Instead of relying only on conventional stirring, an external emulsifying pump was incorporated into the system.
The material can circulate between the mixing tank and emulsifying pump, allowing additional shear and dispersion during processing.
This type of configuration can be useful for products that require:
Fine Dispersion · Uniform Mixing · Improved Product Consistency
The exact processing result depends on the formulation, viscosity and operating conditions.
The customer also required flexibility in the production area.
For this reason, the mixing system was designed on a mobile trolley, allowing the equipment to be moved when required.
This makes it easier to connect the preparation system with different downstream equipment and provides greater flexibility for small-batch production.
The initial project proposal specifically included a mobile trolley together with the mixing tank and emulsifying pump.
An important feature of this project was that the customer already had filling equipment.
Instead of replacing the existing machine, Cosmati designed the new mixing system to complement the customer's current production setup.
The process could therefore be organized as:
Material Preparation → Mixing → Homogenizing → Emulsification → Hot Filling
This approach allowed the customer to expand the processing capability of the existing production system without unnecessarily replacing equipment that was already in use.
The first proposal was prepared according to the customer's initial technical requirements.
After reviewing the drawing, the customer provided additional feedback about how the new system should connect with the existing production equipment.
Cosmati then discussed the requirements with the engineering team and adjusted the equipment layout accordingly.
The project followed a process of:
Requirement Analysis → Initial Drawing → Customer Feedback → Engineering Adjustment → Final Configuration
This type of technical communication is especially important for customized machinery because the final equipment needs to match both the product process and the customer's existing factory setup.
After technical discussions and several configuration adjustments, the customer confirmed the customized mixing solution and proceeded with the repeat order.
This project demonstrates another important aspect of Cosmati's service:
Our equipment can be customized not only for new production lines, but also for upgrading and expanding existing production systems.
For returning customers, understanding the equipment already installed in the factory allows us to develop additional machines that work more effectively with their existing process.
A customized homogenizing and emulsifying mixing system can be considered for products requiring heated preparation and fine dispersion, such as:
Cosmetic Balms · Cream Products · Wax Based Products · Gel Products · Viscous Emulsions
The appropriate mixing and emulsification configuration should always be selected according to the actual formulation and production process.
Cosmati provides customized cosmetic processing and packaging equipment for both new factories and existing production systems.
Available solutions can include:
Mixing · Heating · Homogenizing · Emulsifying · Filling · Capping · Labeling
If you already have filling or packaging equipment, our team can also evaluate how new processing equipment can be integrated into your existing production process.
Send us your product information, current equipment configuration and production requirements to discuss a suitable solution.
