This submersible UV sterilizer is designed for water treatment applications where the UV lamp is immersed directly in the water. It can be used in water tanks, process water systems, wastewater treatment and other compatible water disinfection applications.
2. Can this UV lamp be used for wastewater treatment?
Yes. It can be configured as a Wastewater UV Disinfection Lamp for suitable sewage and wastewater treatment systems.
Actual disinfection performance depends on water quality, UV transmittance, exposure time, lamp arrangement and required treatment capacity.
3. How does the UV water disinfection system work?
The UV lamp emits germicidal ultraviolet radiation that inactivates microorganisms when they receive a sufficient UV dose.
Unlike chemical treatment, UV disinfection does not require adding disinfectant chemicals directly to the water.
4. Is this an immersed or inline UV sterilizer?
This model is an immersed / submersible UV sterilizer. The lamp assembly is installed directly inside the water tank or treatment chamber rather than using a conventional closed inline reactor.
